5 Ways to Stay Comfy and Cozy This Season

Hygge:
(noun) a cozy quality that makes a person feel content and comfortable
(adjective) invoking or fostering a sense of coziness, contentment, and well-being

It’s the season of short days and cold weather. That means it’s also cozy season.

Here are our top 5 tips to help you stay comfy:

Stay home and read.

Your free library card makes it really easy for you to borrow titles from the comfort of your home with the Libby and hoopla digital apps. Make the space around you your happy place with a cozy blanket and warm beverage (or a fan and and iced coffee!).

Get a good night's sleep.

Your body is producing more melatonin when you see less sunlight, which can make you more tired than usual! The cold temps can also increase your metabolism, which can explain why you want to eat and sleep more. Embrace your inner bear and do a little hibernating this winter.
